The Countdown Begins!

Well I am home for the summer! Although for me that means home until July… because I am studying abroad in Auckland, NZ! In 43 days I will be cutting my summer in Canton short to explore NZ for the fall semester (our summer is their winter - but luckily winter down there is mid 40 to mid 50 degree weather). I have plenty of things to do before I leave, I just hope I have enough time (and motivation) to get everything done. I created this blog so that my family and friends would be able to follow along with my amazing adventures. I've never blogged before so this should be interesting! So far, my student visa and housing have been approved, now all that's left is trying to fit a full semesters worth of clothes, shoes etc. into ONE suitcase O_O (good thing my mom bought space bags!) I only know one other person studying abroad with me and luckily we are flying together and will be living in the same dorm :) New Zealand has always been on the top of my bucket list and I am so thankful for this once in a lifetime opportunity to travel half way around the world. Honestly it doesn't feel real… and I don't think it will until I land in NZ after 24+ hours of travel. I can't wait to see what the semester brings and I hope you will enjoy following along!
